Billie Eilish has released an animated music video for “you should see me in a crown”, made in collaboration with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, now available for streaming on YouTube and Vevo.
The animated video sees Eilish’s Blohsh figure and Murakami’s signature flower icon integrated in a universe that took eight months to complete.
Eilish takes a digital form and finds herself in an apocalyptic world conquered by a spider-like antagonist.
Eilish recently announced the release of a limited edition vinyl figure inspired by the music video, which is her digital form dressed in a neon green Blohsh outfit with a signature metal neckpiece.
Last month, Billie Eilish released merchandise in collaboration with Murakami and streetwear designer Don C after their music video was initially released through Apple Music.
This marked the first time that Apple Music released merchandise.
Prior to this, Eilish and Murakami had made plans to collaborate during Eilish’s stay in Japan, and their creative worlds collided then and there. Their first collaboration was a cover shoot for Garag
